So what does one have to do to be heard at by this Traffic Study Group??? or the Transportation Department? or the City Council for that matter.
I have signed up on line for information... I have signed up at every meeting for the last umpteen years to be noticed of future meetings , I have called and talked with staff to the Transportation Commission, who inevitably assure me I am every list there I and will be notified of the next round of this ( fill in the blank) I'd use foolishness .....And I have to hear from neighbors after the fact that these itty bitty focus groups have already met met: talk about "meeting in a box".
Menlo Park council and staff should be should be embarrassed.
This is representative government at its very worse. You can sure find me fast enough when the city wants something; but when there is voiced opposition to a personal agenda being pushed by a Transportation Commissioner member the opposition is not noticed. Why bother to spend all our tax money for the 3rd time and not listen to everyone.
