RE: train noise

Dear Menlo Park Council Members and other Agency Representatives,

Reports that the train horn volume has been reduced are not evidenced by the volume that I have been hearing in Menlo Park. In fact, I think that the sound level has once again increased. This has once again become intolerable, and it needs to be fixed. Please. How much longer do we need to go through this? The quality of life has diminished in my neighborhood due to the train noise. The reaction to the train is rage. And I'm down the block from the tracks. Please address this.

Thank you,

Erik T. Engelson
