I want to thank Kelly and Andy for their attention to my secondhand smoke
issue. I also want to thank the mayor for adding this issue to the list of
potential goals. I hope this matter will be addressed at a future council
meeting. Incidentally, the Belmont ordinance and amended municipal code
prohibiting smoking in multi-unit residences went into effect last week. Barbara
