Construction Activity:
The SFPUC contractor, Ranger Pipelines, has been hired to complete the work for this project.

Work areas in South San Francisco include:
* Palm Avenue

Potholing is a technique used to prepare for pipeline installation. This is a limited construction activity. This minor work allows the contractor to locate underground utilities such as cable and telephone lines. In addition, some preparation for the pipeline installation access pits may be completed at this time.

Potholing is a limited activity requiring 2-5 workers and 1-2 vehicles. This work might include digging small holes in the road to locate the pipeline and utilities.

Next Steps for Construction in South Francisco The contractor anticipates to begin open trench work in South San Francisco this summer. More information will be communicated to residents in the area about this kind of work, as scheduling details become known.
