Dear City Council members,

One of the most lovely walks in all of Menlo Park is along the railroad from Burgess Park to the creek border of Palo Alto along Alma. It is a beautiful woodsy trail where you can feel truly outside the city. Runners, dog walkers, parents & children all regularly enjoy this lovely walk. Caltrain is putting up a chain link fence right in the middle of it - very much destroying the beauty of it. I understand it right across from the new gym -- the road is pretty close there. However, further down, it doesn't seem like the advantages are worth wiping out this gorgeous walk. Please stop the fence!
