Burgess Park Pool - Contract Renewal

Menlo Park City Council:

We are writing to strongly urge the Menlo Park City Council to renew the contract with Menlo Swim and Sport for the Burgess Park Pool facility. The pool has been expertly operated during the entire time they have had the contract. The Burgess Park Pool is an invaluable community resource and enjoys a stellar reputation. This is due entirely to the hard work and dedicated service that Menlo Swim and Sport, and Tim Sheeper, provide. Menlo Park should allow the current operator to continue to run the pool and programs offered at this facility. They have demonstrated the experience and ability to run a first class operation. In short, they have a proven track record. The high standards maintained by the current operator are at risk if the City awards the contract to another operator. Our family are residents of Menlo Park. We have truly enjoyed programs offered by Menlo Swim and Sport. The experience has been 100% positive. Please renew the contract with Menlo Swim and Sport.
