Re Burgess Pool/Menlo Swim and Sport

I swam Master's with Menlo for 5 years: at least 2 at Burgess. I absolutely love Menlo Master's swim program. I have tried others in the area and Menlo provides the best and most supportive coaching. The atmosphere is friendly and encouraging. I moved over to San Mateo recently, but still come to Menlo Park to swim even though there is a new pool at CSM that I could use (which is on my way to work). I work in Menlo Park on Sand Hill Rd. Burgess pool is a little out of my way as compared to CSM, but I would rather swim at Burgess for the excellent facilities and management. I am currently lap swimming and I'm happy to pay the non-resident fees to swim at such a well-managed facility as Burgess even though I have a pool 10 minutes from my home in San Mateo. So many people use the pool, especially parents and children. It is really good to see how Menlo Swim and Sport has cultivated an atmosphere where families can come and kids can learn to swim.

I think it would be difficult to find an organization that could manage better and offer as much.
