As a spokesperson for a diverse group of Menlo Park residents who
believe that Menlo Park need a comprehensive review of it its General
Plan, I urge the City Council not to approve amendments to the General
Plan or zoning changes until such a review has taken place.
Specifically, we request that you deny the General Plan amendments and
zoning changes being considered for 75 Willow Road.
As evidenced by the recent election results where over 55% of the voters
voted for candidates who are advocating comprehensive planning
(Robinson, Cline, and Bressler) and the signatures gathered to put the
Derry project to a referendum vote, the majority of votes are resisting
spot changes to the General Plan.
