Linfield Oaks - 75 Willow Road

Dear Ms. Chow,

I am writing in response to the Notice of Preparation for the proposed
project at 75 Willow Road. My husband and I have lived on Sherwood Way
for 24 years and we are very disturbed that the city is considering
approving the development of even more high density housing in our
neighborhood. We do not understand why the city is considering another
development in our neighborhood that does not align with the general
plan. We asked the same question when the Burgess Classics were
approved and again when the 110/175 Linfield development was approved.
Does anyone on the City Council take the time to listen to constituents
outside their own neighborhoods? We are unaware of any clamor from the
citizens of Menlo Park for this development so seems to us that the only
people interested in this project are the majority of the City Council
and the developers. I have talked to Menlo Park residents who live west
of El Camino and they don't have a clue about this issue. And yet, this
project will have an impact on their quality of life too. It will have
a negative impact the schools, the traffic (which is already terrible),
our recreation facilities, and our library (which is already in
trouble). We urge you to step back and take the time to develop a long
term plan for Menlo Park that will work for everyone.

Sincerely,

Lynne and Tony Reynolds

351 Sherwood Way
