Dear Mickie:
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Silicon Valley Leadership
Group, I would like to invite you to our Annual Public Policy Luncheon
on Friday, October 28, 2005, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center
(Ballroom A). You may have already been contacted by an SVLG member
company to be seated at their table.
In the event you are still in need of a seat, we would like to offer our
assistance in locating a seat and table for you. A reduced cost ticket
at $40 is being offered to you to help cover the costs of the meal
should you choose to attend.
As you may know, the Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) was formed
by David Packard, Co-founder of Hewlett-Packard, as a way for CEO's and
Senior Executives to become directly involved in the economic health and
quality of life of our region, state and nation. Today, the SVLG
represents 195 of the Valley's largest and most respected private sector
employers, who collectively provide 250,000 local jobs - or one of every
four private sector workers in Silicon Valley.
The October 28 Annual Luncheon will attract 1,800 business and community
leaders, including 100 of the Valley's top CEOs/Senior Officers.
Details for the luncheon are as follows:
DATE: Friday, October 28, 2005
TIME: Luncheon - 12 noon to 1:45pm
PLACE: San Jose McEnery Convention Center
Ballroom A
145 W. San Carlos St.
San Jose, CA
COST: A reduced rate of $40.00 per seat
We would be honored to have you join us for this special event. We hope
to hear
back from you by Friday, October 21, 2005 by close of business, so that
we can
make sure you will have a seat for the event. Please contact SVLG at
408/501-7864 or by
responding to this email message.
Sincerely,
Carl Guardino
President and CEO
