Dear City Council,
We are Menlo Park residents at 49 Willow Road and understand that Sunset Magazine has requested a perpetual use permit for its annual open house. We do not feel that it is appropriate for Sunset Magazine to have open-ended authority to use the road and surrounding areas for its annual event, as the scope of the event may change over time and Sunset's privilege in blocking Willow and using the surrounding property should be reviewed on an annual basis in conjunction with the proposed event.
As residents of Willow Road, we appreciate your consideration of our concerns on this matter, and request that Menlo Park City Council not approve Sunset Magazines request for a perpetual permit.
