Dana-

These are all great ideas and I appreciate your time and energy
developing them. All will be discussed and considered (some are already
in progress, like pushing our schools to include bicycling education).

My personal goal, as I use the bicycle as my primary day-to-day
transportation vehicle, is to make using the bicycle everywhere in Menlo
Park as safe as possible. I also believe that safe cycling
infrastructure that provides sufficient room on the roads for bicycles
and/or protected bicycle lanes will be the most effective way to
harmonize relationships between automobiles and other users of the road.

Thanks again for your attention to the needs of our bicycling public.
