Dear City Council,

Thanks for all your work on behalf of the city.

We are Menlo Park residents, homeowners with young children and
business owners in Menlo Park.

The sidewalks along Santa Cruz are important.

I would like to express support for:

--Sidewalks on both sides of the street

--Wide sidewalks (6-8 feet) to keep our children safe as they walk
downtown after school

--A strip of plantings between the street and the sidewalk to buffer
the sidewalk and beautify the surroundings

--Maintaining wide bike lanes

For the benefit of all residents, I am in favor of

--Using the city's FULL right of way

--Eliminating all parking that gets in the way of the priorities above

--Planting new trees for every heritage tree that is removed (while
preserving heritage trees is important, it is more important to me
that Menlo Park plans wider sidewalks for our vibrant, growing city)

Please support those options.
