Re-imagining Santa Cruz Ave

Yes, I support the idea of having residential units above store fronts on
SantaCruz. However, ONLY if families are allowed to occupy them. The
current Downtown/ElCamino R-3 High Occupancy zoning rule works against
families who would like to live downtown - the allowable size for a single
family dwelling should be increased! This would promote a vibrant
community - more people walking : kids walking instead of driving to
Cheecky Monkey, Suzie's, Baskin Robins etc. and enjoying the re-imagined
Santa Cruz Ave. and at the same time reducing traffic congestions and
carbon footprint! Bringing one and two bedroom apartments downtown will
not help it!
