MEDIA ADVISORY: VA Palo Alto Holds Veterans Town Hall at San Jose Clinic (12/4)

 
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) will be holding a Veterans Town Hall on Thursday, December 4, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., at its San Jose Clinic. The town hall will be hosted by the VAPAHCS Director, Lisa Freeman, and the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Oakland Regional Office Director, Julianna M. Boor, in hopes to learn some of the challenges Veterans may be facing while trying to access care in the Bay Area.
These meetings will be held quarterly as part of local and national efforts by VA to be more proactive in assessing the needs of Veterans and their families. VBA representatives will be available prior to the meeting, from 5:30-6:00 p.m., to help with Veteran benefits questions. All are welcome to attend but are asked to RSVP at http://bit.ly/townhallsjc.
