Water rationing

From: domainremoved <Cherie>

Dear Council Members,

Regarding mandatory drought measures, it is farcical that residents
are being asked to curtail watering their lawns, etc. when the San
Francisco PUC has knowingly allowed old and leaky pipes to waste
millions of gallons of our drinking water for years! Thatís 25 gallons
per minute for the last 5 years.

Apart from refusing Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club's unseemly
request to drill a well to water their golf course, Menlo Park should
enact no local mandatory water rationing, but would do well to put
pressure on the SFPUC to immediately plug those leaks.

Sincerely,

Cherie Zaslawsky
