Re: Grade Separation Urgency - Menlo Park Railroad Crossings

FYI . . .someone died on the railroad tracks last night at a Menlo Park
Cal-train. The conductor told me last night "It will be a long night . .
it is a blood mess." How many more people have to die before common sense,
reality, and humanity kick in?! I am ashamed the Council has not given
greater attention/money/focus on this important issue. The time is now.

Cal-train was shut down for hours last night north of Menlo Park. It is a
sad, cold, dark reality that our society and community are losing powerful,
important, and vital members of our community.
One person can change the world. I hope the Council will be enlightened
enough to fast-track this LONG overdue need for the community. You might
actually find side auxiliary, unintended benefits such as less traffic
backups, less pollution from idling, less wasted time/productivity, a
greater flow on streets, a happier commuting/working crowd, less
accidents/injuries, and more humane situation.
