Dear Council Why is Menlo park not considering creating a well reserve to supply its own citizens and Business with emergency water usage as did Palo Alto? A Golf course and country club which is for the benefit of less that 1-2% of Menlo Citizens if even that is not sound environmental planning. Nor is reducing our water table a underground resources for golfers and their course at a private club when our very own parks and landscapes are required to be on rationing. Who and when was the community really educated about this direction and plans for resource usage.  Really?  Is this a kin to your decisions on planning for the build out of apartments on the El Camino and allowing private  roof top terraces and balconies to be considered open space. Ihave studied urban planning , architecture and environmental design.......that is not the definition of "OPEN SPACE" ! And privatizing public underground water for a golf course country club is is not sound environmental management especially not in the climate crisis we are experiencing for the rest of our lives. WAKE UP COUNCIL !   Barbara Weber Bay laurel Dr M.P.
