Pope-Chaucer Bridge Replacement

First and foremost, I want to say how appreciative I am of the hard work and good intentions of our local city authorities.  I imagine it is a thankless job at many times, but we see the quiet and steady maintenance and care you give to our area. I also have to add my voice to those opposing a wall and armoring of San Francisquito Creek around the proposed Pope-Chaucer Bridge Replacement.  There has to be a better way.  I have read the proposed options and am utterly opposed to: only a bike bridge, removing a bike bridge, and any type of wall.  The 3rd Alternative has the best choices thus far. But, perhaps the decision needs more time.  We need an option that can save the vegetation, the asthetic, and still accomplish the goal.   Once again: as a Menlo Park resident for thirty two years, I beg you not to build a wall.  There will be unforeseen negative consequences to the community.  The other options are less invasive to our neighborhood. Thank you for your consideration, Angela Ballard
