internet connection speeds in Menlo Park

Hello Council Members, I love living in Menlo Park. I love living in the heart of Silicon Valley, the birthplace of the computer revolution. I am also sick of the fact that the place that prides itself on being the place of computer & networking innovation has internet connection speeds from vendors that offer 10% of the speeds offered in countries like Korea - and the US does not figure in the top 10.  I work in the local technology industry, and would like to figure out how to offer Menlo Park residents a state of the art fiber to the home network. Is this something that the council would be interested in taking up as an infrastructure priority? ( I realize that there is significant financial investment required for this, and I have thought about how to make this work) Thank you Siddharth
