F-4 Change in City's Rail Policy

From: domainremoved <Kathy>

I will attempt to be at the meeting on Tuesday night. I am asking for consideration in bring this item earlier in the agenda since there may be others attending that would like to have a voice in this agenda item without waiting until after 10 pm. to do so.

Bottom line, I disagree with staff's recommendation that the City Council should amend the rail policy at this time. Signifiant review needs to be done before considering this. Because the city has a timeline for an application for a grade-separation study should not be the reason to hurry through a change like this without examining the impacts. There are many Menlo Park residents who have a lot to lose. Opening up the possibility of three tracks through our city could be devastating to local communities.

If you would be so kind and read my comments I would appreciate it. Thank you, Kathy Hamilton, Menlo Park
