Honorable Mayor and Council Members:
On behalf of the Library Commission, I wanted to extend an early invitation for the Library Issues Breakfast to the City Council and City Management Staff. The date for this event is Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Menlo Park's Stanford Park Hotel. Registration begins at 8:30 am, the program starts at 9 am. Staff is sending a printed invitation that you should be receiving in your inboxes.
This year's speakers are California State Senator Joe Simitian and Mary Hughes, a Bay Area political consultant who also happens to be his wife. It promises to be a very interesting event. I believe nearly all of you have attended this breakfast in the past. We look forward to your attendance once again.
