Jill and the board, just so you know, Your 4 semis carrying 4 sections of portables rumbled up Oak Ave @ 6:30 am on Monday the 14th, like invading tanks waking up the neighbors.

As you know, Menlo Park city codes are quite strict that construction hours should not begin before 8am (attached). Indeed, our house shook from the vibration!!     No notice was provided to the neighborhood of this early morning disturbance. Your only communication indicated that portables would be placed on the 14th.     Thanks for the unsolicited wake up call. You should also be aware that a couple of residents are undergoing painful chemo treatments, and precious sleep is at a premium for them.     If this is an example of the district's policy of disrespect for immediate neighbors and disregard of city ordinances, then you can expect our timely protests to the city council and enforcement administration.     Rich, Mary and Chris Rollins
