G1 -- Urge reconsideration of Vote & get residents involved!

Dear Council,

It's been almost 3 months since your June 11 meeting. I agree completely
with the sentiments in Cecilia Taylor's email requesting a
reconsideration of the vote. The residents want to see more action on the
serious concerns brought up at that meeting.

At minimum, please re-vote on this matter to signal action tonight. Then, I
suggest that the two Council subcommittees meet to firm up their proposals
for presentation to the full Council. Why not even hold some "community
conversations" or "fishbowls" and invite the public!

The residents would like to see action. Development is continuing but we do
not yet have plans from the subcommittees. The lack of formal plans sends
the wrong message to the residents.

This City could better use resident volunteers.
