Dear Honorable Mayor Mueller and City Council Members,

I am writing to thank you for your recent leadership on climate action and
to ask you to continue to do so by adopting the proposed Reach Codes at
tonight's meeting. Adopting the proposed Reach Codes is not only the single
biggest climate action that the city can take this year, but will also make
great strides toward improving the air quality, safety, and overall health
of our community, all while making new homes a more sound financial choice
for prospective homeowners like myself. Their adoption will go a long way
toward helping Menlo Park reach its greenhouse gas reduction targets,
adhere to the recent adopted Climate and Sustainability Resolution (No.
6493), and establish our city as a leader on climate action not only in the
Bay Area, but in the country as a whole. Please continue the great
leadership you have shown so far and adopt the proposed Reach Codes
tonight. Thank you again.
