Public Benefit Bonus Moratorium

Dear Menlo Park City Council,

The proposed Hampton Inn at 1704 ECR project is too dense for the neighborhood. It will increase the foot print by 30%, the number of rooms from 28 to 70 and increasing the height from a two story to three story buildings. This proposed hotel does not enhance the attractiveness, charm, desirability to our neighborhood or Menlo Park nor does it provide a Public Benefit Bonus. We need a defined PBB policy with transparent criteria. Money going into the General Fund should not be the main criteria. This proposed project or any new project should not be approve until we have new PBB policy.

Thank you for your consideration.
