Dog Park

I am a proud resident in the Sharon Heights area of Menlo Park. My husband, myself, and pup Penny moved to the area two years ago. We felt instantly welcomed and fell in love with Menlo Park; we know this is our forever home where we will be able to raise a family here (if we are so blessed).

One of the instant things I noticed when we moved here is how large of a community of dogs there is; Penny’s daily walking route includes a beautiful walk around the Sharon Park pond. It’s always the highlight of her day as we generally run into at least a half a dozen dogs during our normal loop.

I would love to see if we could find a way to create a dog park somewhere in the Sharon Heights area. After witnessing on a daily basis how much the community gets brought together by being around each other and their dogs, I think the park would get an incredible amount of use. Perhaps even using some of the grass and other open areas already at Sharon Park could be used to build something. My husband and I are willing to make a donation to help finance the project.

I truly look forward to your response and would be so thrilled if we can do something like this for the community. Feel free to give me a call if easier, 916-838-1275
