I'm pleased to "attach" a copy of the beautifully designed, long lasting,
plague supported by 1) the Rotary Club, 2) Kiwanis Club, 3) Lions Club, 4)
Chamber of Commerce and 5) Historical Association. It is expected that later this
year it will be permanently installed near the location of the original
"Menlo Gates" created in approx. 1854.
This collaborative effort is remarkable and worthy of praise. This shows the pride well deserved by many in recognizing our heritage, our roots and the desire to share it with current and future generations. I'm sure further announcements will occur later this year when the plague is finally placed in a permanent location.
