I think the traffic in the Willows has been studied enough. I don't support
the City using any monies to hold another study.
I do not think traffic is any worse than it has been, and I live on the corner of what many think is a major intersection: Menalto and Woodland. I have lived here for 31 years.
I also do not think crime is any worse. If you look at the statistics in the local papers which also cover Palo Alto, they are having a lot of burglaries too -- our neighborhood is faring no worse than others.
From my own experience, we used to have many more car break-ins, taking car stereos, than we do anymore. Now the hot item is flat screen TVs, so more easy-to-approach homes with expensive electronics are targeted.
I don't think another traffic study is useful, just wasteful.
