Saving seven redwood trees

An article in the October 2017 issue of Scientific American, on page 26, with the title "Moving a Giant" describes techniques that could be used to preserve the seven redwood trees. The trees could be raised as many feet as desired to allow was necessary work, and also moved sideways, if required. When work on the builing was complete, the trees could be left at this new height, with the space underneath filled with new soil, providing an adequate soil depth for the trees. I urge you to fully investigate this option by contacting the company mentioned in the article, or one that does similar work, and providing the details, including cost to the public.
