To Council Meeting Tuesday March 25th, 2008.
This credit is to go for the preservation of trees. Too much misguided money is already spent for this purpose.
At the same time there is a movement to thin and deforest to stop the costs, death and destruction of forest fires.
The main cause of greenhouse gases is from emissions from traffic. Every spare dollar should go to in that direction.
Individuals are already volunteering to pay this penance fo PGE. The city should not use public funds without a majority vote.
