summer concert series

Dear City Council,

Thank you for holding the wonderful summer concert series! It is a big hit
with the community. What many of us parents of young kids have discussed,
is it would be even better if there was 1 (just 1!) show that was family
friendly. Most young children go to bed by 7pm and having a show that
starts at 6:30 pm just isn't practical (and when we try to bring kids
anyway, they are melting down because they are overtired.). I know I can
speak for many friends without kids (some of our elderly neighbors for
example) when I say they really enjoy seeing the little ones dancing in the
grass and having fun! So if you could consider a concert at 5 pm next year
at Fremont Park and call it the family night, that would be appreciated. I
love oldies and other cover bands like beatles, rock, 80s ,90s whatever, but
kids music would also be a hit like Raffie and disney. Whatever you want to
do on the council to make it start at 5pm! If you could get food trucks
there too that would be great, but picnicking is also fine by us.
thanks for considering!
