Menlo Park congestion management

Hello Council,

I have lived in Menlo Park since 1999. I have raised 2 children from kindergarten through high school in our city. I have run 2 high tech businesses that were headquartered on Willow road near Middlefield.

Congestion Management should be part of our Traffic Management Plan.

With the expansion of office building capacity, it is excruciating for employees who have to drive into and out of Menlo Park. Even before the overpass construction, it could regularly take an employee 45 minutes to drive from middlefield to 101 in rush hour.

This drives the increased neighborhood traffic and the speed bumps that you e added recently.

I have no answer other than restricting new office facilities to have employees use Caltrain or other transportation than cars.

Best regards
Dave Jevans
