Dear Council members,
I'm writing to you to support the funding of a Traffic study in the WILLOWS neighborhood, and in particular related to crime activities. I believe road closures, partial road closures and blocks would notimpact the quality of life in the neighborhood, but would insteadrestore a sense of security for its residents. It would also benefitthe comfort of pedestrian and bikers, as cars would not be zoomingdown most streets, as they do now.
The Willows has become a heavily frequented neighborhood. I'm not aware of any other residential neighborhood in Menlo Park combining a supermarket, a High School and an elementary school located on residential streets.
There is a strong demand and a strong support in the Willows for such a study, it's time to go ahead with it.
Sincerely,
Laure Laprais
154 Oak Court, in the Willows
