Sharon Road Sidewalk Project

Dear City Council,

I am the president of board of the Las Lomitas Elementary School District.
Thank you for making this safety project a priority. As you have likely
seen, this road is heavily trafficked in the morning and afternoon by both
cars and students. Without a sidewalk, it is not presently safe, but there
is no other direct route for many students who walk to school from east to
west. During rainy season (i.e. now) it is especially bad as students have
to veer into traffic to dodge rain puddles and we are very lucky that we
haven't yet had an accident. Please prioritize this project before we have
an accident.

A sidewalk will make this a safe route to school and help protect our most
valuable resource...our children.

Thank you for your consideration and if you have any questions, please do
not hesitate to contact me.
