101/Willow Rd Northbound merge

To Menlo Park City Council,

I writing to ask you to address the northbound merge onto Hwy 101 from Willow Rd. This is an extremely dangerous merge due to the length Cal Trans has given with the construction of the interchange. It is the scariest merge as you either have to accelerate so quickly to not get rear ended. The cars in the slow lane do not slow down to help with your merge & I have almost been side swiped or I have to come to a sudden stop. The sudden stop is so dangerous for me & to the car behind me. Please address this immediately before someone gets killed. There has already been so many accidents at this merge in the past few months. I’m now avoiding this on ramp by driving to University Ave in Palo Alto to go northbound on 101.
