To the Menlo Park City Council:
It has come to our attention that a request has been made to install 2 additional speed bumps on the short stretch of Oak Avenue between Oak Knoll Avenue and Sand Hill. There are currently 3 speed bumps and adding 2 additional bumps is, in our opinion, totally unnecessary. We live on Oak Knoll Lane and use Oak Avenue to access Sand Hill. The bumps have been very effective in keeping our speed below 25 mph. Two more would most certainly make that stretch of road extremely awkward and an impediment to traffic.
Before this goes any further, the Oak Knoll neighborhood must be advised and have an opportunity to comment.
Sincerely
Erika Bailey
