City Council,

Thank you for supporting the trial bike lane on Oak Grove. I use it every day as I ride my bike to and from the Caltrain station and feel so much safer with a buffer away from moving cars and opening car doors. I use it when I go to the downtown restaurants and shops. I use it when I go to grocery store. It would be wonderful if you extended the bike line all the way to University Drive!

I will let the rest of my family write to you separately - and they will explain how each of them uses the Oak Grove bike lane frequently to safely travel east-west across Menlo Park. It has allowed us to use our automobiles MUCH less often.

Please make the Oak Grove Bike Lane permanent. It is safer for cyclist, less stressful for drivers, and promotes more cycling. Win, win, WIN!!!
