Dear Council Members,
As a regular bike commuter from my home in Menlo Park, I am grateful in general for the city’s investment in improving the bike route infrastructure throughout the city. I am especially interested in your support for safe routes to schools. In this respect I write as a Menlo Park homeowner and also as an individual member of the Sequoia Union High School district board to urge you to adopt Resolution 6470. I believe the staff report and recommendation are thorough and appropriate. I note particularly that 80% of our residents and 76% of all respondents support the project.
