The Light Brown Apple Moth (LBAM), 3 year + program, aerial spraying of Checkmate OLR-F and LBAM-F (or other pheromone pesticide mix) has been approved for over 3 years, by CDFA, who says it is safe, sprayed over rooftops from 8pm to 5am,over rooftops, houses, rivers, schools, parks, for 2-5 nights a month. The spray is released in micro capsules that release a plume of the pesticide spray for 60-90 days from where it has landed, while the moths are in flight. Then twist ties are being used in the moth's other stage, releasing the pheromone from a telephone pole or fence. You are advised to stay inside and close your windows and doors.
Starting August 2007 Monterey County has been aerial sprayed. Then Santa
Cruz County was next. We said "no", we were sprayed anyway. The spray has
had a toxic effect on the people and the environment. Verify the scientific
