Thank you for sidewalks on Woodland

Hello Council Members,

I heard today about the inclusion of Woodland Ave. as a priority in the MP sidewalks plan, and I am thrilled.

Making these improvements to the safety of our blocks of Woodland will allow me to ride bicycles to school with my three children-- without having a heart attack worrying we'll be hit by a passing car. The speed humps installed several years ago had such a dramatic effect in improving neighborhood safety-- and truly in improving our sense of living in a neighborhood. I expect the sidewalks will be the next step (no pun intended) in this development of our neighborhood experience.

Thank you for listening and for your amazing hard work on behalf of all of the residents of Menlo Park. Yours is a challenging job-- and often thankless I'm sure. Please know that there are many (very many) of us who are deeply appreciative of the huge amount of time you dedicate as council members.

Michele Wheeler (and Mark, Nicola, Vanessa and Cole Wheeler too) 1391 Woodland Ave. Received on Wed Feb 13 22:55:14 2008
