Menlo Park City Council

Menlo Park City Attorney

I have been a property owner on Santa Cruz Avenue for over50 years.  I wrote to the City Council in2001, and here we are again, in 2018, facing the same issues. I am amazed atthe unfairness of the situation. Draegers wants the owners to redo their plansto accommodate the Draeger’s loading zone. I can’t believe that a family who isso well off would have no shame or concern in suggesting such a thing. Do theyneed the lot???? They are using valuable parking spaces in the parking lot whenthe council is talking about building a parking garage. They are using thefront of someone else’s property for their deliveries. I believe that this hasa lot to do with Menlo Avenue on one side and the parking lot on the otherside. How do they expect the owners to have access to their property? The CityCouncil and the City Attorney should force them to come to an agreement on thisland. Menlo Council and the City Attorney should do what is best for the cityand it’s residence, not what is best for Draegers.

Thank you

Sincerely
