I support homes at the Alma St. library

Dear Mayor Ohtaki, Mayor Pro Tem Mueller, Councilmember Keith,
Councilmember Carlton and Councilmember Cline:

I understand that a demolition/remodel of the Library is being
discussed, along with new construction in that area of Menlo Park. This
seems like an incredible opportunity for incorporating some much needed
new housing. The proximity to El Camino, CalTrain and businesses make
this an ideal candidate for transit oriented development. Menlo Park can
be a leader and serve as an example for other cities on the Peninsula
for how to do things the right way. This location would be ideal for
people working in this part of Menlo Park and help keep many cars off
the congested roads.

Please take a holistic view of this project and consider incorporating
some housing as you move forward with the plans.
Thank you!
