Thanks for the email Ben. The Mayor usually handles general on-air interview requests in Menlo Park. This year our Mayor is Peter Ohtaki.

With kind regards,

Ray Mueller

Subject: Interview request for radio show and podcast

OUR MISSION: "To change the paradigm of how people see government and economic policy when it comes to politics starting at the local level."

Hi, my name is Ben Plassman. I am the soon-to-be host of a radio show (and podcast) on the new 106.1 WAKT station. The show, along with the station premier in the middle of July in the Toledo Ohio area. The title of my show is "Revitalizing Toledo." It is based on discussing economic reforms that could be implemented that would help revitalize the economy within the Toledo Ohio's area. While we are concentrating on the local Toledo economy, our goal is to create a new paradigm for how people view government and economics altogether.

The topic for the first month of our show is going to be Entrepreneurship. For it we will be doing several pre-recorded interviews with people involved in the entrepreneurship scene in Toledo along with those in local government involved with implementing policy reforms to spur entrepreneurial development from across the United States.

I was wondering if you would be available for an interview over Skype for our radio show and podcast within the next few weeks? For the interview I will be asking questions about why entrepreneurial infrastructure in certain locations increases the success rates of so many start-ups, and what parts of this infrastructure are most important to the success of new businesses. We would also like to hear more of your personal story and the ventures you are involved in as well, especially with regards to policy reforms made. Let me know if you are interested.

Thank you for your time.
