Ravenswood Rail Crossing Project

I have followed the Ravenswood Rail Crossing Project with interest. My
recommendation about the proposed solutions is simple: consider the impact
with consideration a 20 to 100-year timeframe.

Menlo Park has a complicated problem with no easy solutions regarding
East-West traffic across the city. The railroad tracks are like a big stop
sign for E-W traffic and we would do well to assure that the there are
multiple crossings that are available for traffic to move over or under the
tracks regardless of train traffic. This means that a solution that only
involves Ravenswood is insufficient. Don't be the City Council that
citizens will look back upon and ask "what were they thinking?"
