It is a disservice to Menlo Park residents and businesses to enable
marginal discusses this tomorrow, May 8. Third terms seems to be torment
for for the incumbents - where they lose interest and energy. There are
enough residents around to partake in city governance - and a third
term creates
a barrier to entry.

Let them know your preference. Agenda item

“G. Public Hearing
G1. City Council direction on placing City Charter on November 2018 ballot
(Staff Report #18-098-CC)”

I suggest that a considerate and prudent council give voters a ballot
choice: one for two-term limits, and one for three-term limits.
