Dear --------------City Council:  

On Friday, May 2, 2008, the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County will be holding its 11th Annual Awards Luncheon at the Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto. We would be honored if you could join us in acknowledging several individuals and firms whose contributions have touched countless lives through justice. In the past, your office has prepared certificates, and we hope that they are able to do so this year.  

The following is a list of honorees and their awards:  

  1. Guardian of Justice Award Winner: Cooley Godward Kronish LLP
  2. Natalie Lanam Achievement Award Winner: Joseph Galligan C.P.A., Galligan Thompson & Flocas LLP
  3. The Dorothy M. Wolfe Award: Margaret Martin, The Law Offices of Margaret Laughlin Martin

Although there is not enough time for the council to present the awards, we will be delighted if you or a representative can attend. Of course, we will mention that the City of Menlo Park has prepared a certificate for each award winner.
