RE: RE: Urgent - T-Intersection & Independence Relocation/Realignment

Hi Mr. Kadivar,

I appreciate you reaching out again for an update. We have had several meetings this week to review the alternatives you’ve suggested and the concerns you’ve raised. Additionally, we met yesterday with other property owners in the vicinity of the area to discuss. We should have a more complete update for you next week. Theresa will be reaching out to set up a meeting with the group that met on February 28 and discuss next steps.

Thank you,
Nikki

Nikki,

Thanks for your email. I am following up as we have not heard back and City Hall is closed tomorrow. For everyone's benefit, please note that the Caltrans permit, which was presumably the reason staff pushed for the T-intersection approval at the February 13 City Council meeting, was not received as of the following City Council meeting Tuesday March 13.

Sincerely,

Hi Mr. Kadivar,

Thank you for submitting this information and checking in. Also, we’d like to thank you and those representing 104 Constitution, 110 Constitution, and 115 Independence for your time last week meeting with City staff to discuss the Independence realignment. We have reviewed the letter and attachment you provided, and understand your request to include:

1. Stop work on the T-intersection (Marsh/Independence) project

2. Analyze alternatives to the T-intersection

3. Eliminate the proposed new Independence alignment from further consideration

We are currently working on a more detailed response to your questions and concerns, and are also reviewing the alternatives you requested.

We will circle back with you by the end of next week with an update and estimate of when we can follow up with further information.

Best,

Nikki

All,

In follow-up to City Council's discussion on February 13, 2018 and our meeting with Staff on February 28, 2018, please see the attached letter from the four property owners of 104 Constitution Drive, 111 Independence Drive, 110 Constitution Drive, and 115 Independence Drive. This matter is quite urgent and we greatly appreciate your immediate attention.

For ease of communications, I will serve as the point of contact for the group, but please cc all property owners on any emails.

Sincerely,

Sateez Kadivar
