Follow Up on the Belle Haven Amenities Fund

From: domainremoved <Julie>

Dear Mayor Ohtaki and esteemed City Council Members,

The Menlo Gateway Project is occupied. The Hotel Nia is now accepting
reservations for room stays beginning in April, and they are hosting an
event on April 7.

We humbly request that you direct staff to create a fund so that the
receipts from the project are deposited into an account that is
specifically spent on amenities for the M-2 Area.

In the past, public benefits for residents most impacted by new
development, construction, and traffic have not been visible in the
community. Creating the account and allocating the funds is an important
step in transparency and trust. As a reminder, we wrote you 30 days ago on
February 12 with the same request.

With respect,

Julie Shanson, Cecilia Taylor and Annielka Perez
