Triangle Annexation

Dear City Council Members,

I am writing to encourage you to support annexation of the West Menlo Park triangle region.

This is the first step of annexing the full County area that currently bisects West Menlo Park.
Unifying Menlo Park provides many advantages including:

- A single jurisdiction for better coordination of safety for school children, pedestrians, and cyclists
- A single jurisdiction for better coordination of traffic
- Better unification of the West Menlo Park business district with the rest of Menlo Park
- Better coordination of development across the community
- Better protection of trees
- Better representation through local government
- Safer communities through single law enforcement responsibility

The triangle, surrounded on all three sides by Menlo Park, provides an excellent pilot annexation effort.

Thank you for your efforts to improve Menlo Park in this way!
